Pacific Electronics 3403 Apartment Intercom System, 3 Wire intercom room Station enables building owners to upgrade existing bell/buzzer systems to intercom systems using the existing wiring. Using Pacific Electronics 3 wire intercom system, installation time is greatly reduced, making it very cost effective.
Pacific Electronics 3403 apartment intercom station is not, however, recommended for building with more than 30 units or when 4, 5 or 6 wires are available.
High wire resistance due to cable length may interfere with system operation and all three wire intercom systems are more time consuming to repair.
System Operation - The 3403 Pacific Electronics Intercom system allows for two-way conversation between an apartment and a building entrance. A visitor initiates a call to an apartment using a push-button on the lobby panel. The tenant pushes the talk and listen buttons on the apartment station alternately to communicate with the visitor. The tenant may allow the visitor to enter the building by pushing the door button on the apartment station.
Wiring Requirements For Pacific Electronics 3403 Intercom Stations - Two common wires and one unique signal wire per apartment.
