3311HC Pacific Electronics Apartment Intercom Station with red indicator lamp for the Hearing Impaired. The Pacific Hearing Impaired System provides a visual indication in an apartment when a visitor calls from the building entrance.

The 3311HC apartment intercom station is designed to alert hearing impaired people that a visitor is in the lobby. Two additional lights can be installed for a bedroom, den or kitchen (see FC3022 Dome/Flasher).

A visitor initiates a call to an apartment by pressing the corresponding button on the lobby panel. A light on the apartment station and/or dome lights will flash for 15 seconds, alerting the tenant that a visitor is in the lobby. The tenant uses the talk and listen buttons on the apartment station to communicate and the door button to allow visitors into the building. After 15 seconds, the light will turn off automatically whether or not the call is answered.
