Pacific Electronics 3406 apartment intercom station, 5 or 6-wire apartment intercom suite station enables building owners to upgrade the existing bell/buzzer system to an intercom

system using existing wiring, Two wires control Talk, Listen and Door functions and one wire connects to the entry panel call button for that unit.

System Operation - The 3406 Pacific Electronics Intercom system allows for two-way conversation between an apartment and a building entrance. A visitor initiates a call to an apartment using a push-button on the lobby panel. The tenant pushes the talk and listen buttons on the apartment station alternately to communicate with the visitor. The tenant may allow the visitor to enter the building by pushing the door button on the apartment station.

Wiring Requirements For Pacific Electronics 3406 Intercom Stations - Two common wires and one unique signal wire per apartment.
