(3403) Auth Florence 3 Wire intercom system enables building owners to upgrade existing bell/buzzer systems to intercom systems using the existing wiring. Because installation time is greatly reduced, the three wire system is an excellent, cost effective system. This system is not, however, recommended for buildings with more than 30 units. System Operation - The 3403 Auth Florence system allows for two-way conversation between an apartment and a building entrance. A visitor initiates a call to an apartment using a push button on the lobby panel. The tenant pushes the talk and listen buttons on the apartment station alternately to communicate with the visitor. The tenant may allow the visitor to enter the building by pushing the door button on the apartment station.

Wiring Requirements For 3 Wire Stations - Two common wires and one unique signal wire per apartment.
